A former warehouse on two levels literally opened up to light, when part of the ground floor was demolished to create a modern, green courtyard below street level.
Sunlight, weather and the alternating seasons can now be observed from vast glass walls, fostering a connection to nature even in the center of a bustling metropolis.
Plants, open-flow spaces and details such as the choice of antibacterial surfaces express a focus on human wellbeing throughout the new Korus headquarters.
To create a flexible and warm environment for modern work, soft curtains, comfortable and informal seating, and painstaking acoustic optimization are paired with starkblack functional elements – from desk chairs to window frames and from lighting to exposed, ceiling-mounted systems.
The layout is visually unified by the use of wood, variations of signinum hues, and the connecting lines of the large bookcase. It all makes for a newfound natural flow, in both the renewed space and the activities carried out here every day.
